| About: |
Our Anglican brothers and sisters in the Global South who serve the Lord need us to stand with them in partnership. We can be vessels of Christ's mercy, bringing hope to villages where crops wither, AIDS is rampant, and parents struggle to feed their children urban slums where people work 18 hours a day just to provide a single meal families whose only way to afford medical care is to sell a child into slavery refugee camps where every possession and dream has been bombed, burned, or stolen.
The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) was created by the Anglican Communion Network in 2004 to be the strong hands of Christ reaching out in true partnership with brothers and sisters in the Global South. Our brothers and sisters don't need handouts, they need encouragement, opportunity and practical, self-sustaining assistance. We are committed to helping our partners achieve real results on problems like those highlighted by the U.N.'s Millennium Development Goals. ARDF supports solid, proven solutions, true to the living Gospel that feeds body and soul so that all may seek eternal life in Jesus Christ, and enjoy the abundant life He brings.
We are committed to only funding programs that show measurable, demonstrable progress. Ninety percent of our projects have completed, met, or exceeded expectations. Read some of our Project Results Reports to find out more. |
